is currently our most urgent need. We have a
professional driver who has logged more than a million miles in the United
States and Canada. If you have some time and you'd prefer to drive yourself,
we'd love to travel with you. If you know someone who is selling their RV,
let them know about us. If you know an RV dealer or manufacturer, suggest
that an investment in fat travel would be a good deal -- we are willing to
negotiate promotional considerations in exchange for an RV, including videos,
web space ads or other forms of trade for an RV. We are open to any kind
of arrangement that will legally get us out on the road.

Our
goal is to visit as many bookstores as we can across the United States starting
in July 2004. So, if you have a favorite bookstore, ask them for contact
information and tell them we will be calling. Then send the most specific
information you can to us so we can call and set up a time for us to visit your
town.

We will be providing travel information while we are on the road in the form of weekly updates. These will include practical tips as well as travelogue and the occasional picture or video. If you want to see more and you enjoy what we are doing, click on The Ample Traveler logo (Pay Pal Button) and send some money our way. No amount of support is too small (or too large, though you might want to consider sponsorship for amounts $100 and more). We will acknowledge your support by putting your name on our Supporters web page.

By targeting people interested in accessibility issues for larger persons, we are catering to a market segment that has traditionally been ignored, but is fast becoming an important demographic for businesses to consider. By helping us get out on both the road and the information highway, your message will reach people who want to support businesses that are size friendly. We have three levels of sponsorship available from which you can choose:
1. Be a Booster
For a US$100 payment (or the equivalent in goods or services), we will put a business card ad on our Booster's web page for a period of 12 months. There will be a link on all The Ample Traveler web pages pointing to our boosters.
2. Be a Partner
For US$1000 payment (or the equivalent in goods or services), we will put a link to your website on our Partners web page for a period of 12 months. There will be a link on all The Ample Traveler web pages pointing to our partners.
3. Be a Patron
For US$5000 payment (or the equivalent in goods or services), we will put up a link to your website on the top of all The Ample Traveler web pages for a period of 12 months.
